Sentinel also features an Auto-Load and SecureShutDown method that will scan your files on Startup or on ShutDown.
-RegWatch: Monitors startup entries from the Registry (including the `Not Known` Sub7 methods). Also featured is the ability to scan your Registry and WinInit.ini files for files that will be Deleted or Modified on the next reboot.
-AppWatch: View open all open Windows (you have the ability to close them from here). Programmers will like the ability for Sentinel to display the class names and process ID`s of every open window.
Sentinel integrates with ANY virus scanner that supports command line arguments. Sentinel itself is NOT an anti-virus program, but a powerful tool that will enable users to supplement their anti-virus software. Sentinel acts as a last line of defense.
Use it to detect possible viruses/trojans and stay one more step ahead of Infection and increase your likelyhood of completely eliminating a malicious virus or trojan.
What makes Sentinel unique is that unlike Anti-Virus programs, Sentinel looks for UNKNOWNS. Anti-Virus programs are constantly having to be updated because they look for KNOWN viruses.
Sentinel`s Auto-Logging feature will enable users to re-scan files that have previously failed - giving them a chance to update their Anti-Virus definition files and double-check possible infections.
